Drawings and local data

Sqft Master saves drawing files where you choose and maintains recovery and settings data in your Windows user profile. It does not send drawing geometry, measurements, filenames, or PNG exports to Tri Strand. Back up saved drawing files separately, especially before changing computers or removing the app.

Trial and purchases

The app stores a local trial start date and an installation identifier. Trial records are protected for the Windows user with Windows DPAPI and a per-user registry marker. These records are not sent to Tri Strand.

If you buy through Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles payment and purchase licensing. The app asks Windows whether the matching full-version purchase is active. If you use a direct-download edition, license activation and periodic validation contact Lemon Squeezy using the purchase key and installation ID; that service receives your IP address. Drawings are not part of either license request.
